The term "hybrid lashes" refers to extensions that mix classic and volume styles. For classic extensions, one extension is put on each natural lash, so the ratio is 1:1. On the other hand, a 2:5:1 ratio is used for volume extensions. So, two to five extensions are put on each natural eyelash.
